SUD SUCKERS NEWS

The Sud Suckers got off to a rough start Friday night, playing a disorganized first period, although they slowly improved as the game went along. Stock put forth a tremendous effort in goal and kept them in the game until a late period goal from the point by SteveDave Mullins started to turn the tide in the Sud Suckers' direction.
Strong teamwork was evident in the third period, with an early goal scored by Wes Tolle (setting a new career single-season high with 2 goals), with assist credits going to Ryan and Kyle Amerson. Ryan Amerson followed up soon after with the nail in the coffin on a Mike Bambico assist for a final score of 3-0. Major props to Stock, who posted his second shutout in 4 games.
The Sud Suckers are still one-point behind the new and improved Ice Holes, who took over the top spot in the league last week by beating Beer Stick 1-0 in the early game, and held on to it with a come-from-behind 3-2 victory over the Panthers this week.
Next game is November 21st at 9:30 vs. the Panthers. Be there, or go out drinking instead and cause a fatal 4-car pileup. Your choice.
